Dolphins and Knights arm wrestle continues on day two

Durban – The defending champion Hollywoodbets Dolphins and the log-leading Itec Knights continued their absorbing arm wrestle at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead on the second day of the keenly anticipated CSA 4-Day Domestic Series clash.

The Free Staters quickly advanced the fixture by ending the Dolphins first innings on 226, an addition of 29 runs to their overnight total.

Matthew Kleinveldt and Jacques Snyman got the visitors reply off to a solid start, before debutante Odirilie Modimokoane accounted for Snyman, well caught by a diving Andile Phehlukwayo at mid-on for an aggressive 94.

Kleinvedt and skipper Pite van Biljon took their visitors reply to 168/1 after 50 overs before bad light forced the players to leave the field.

Earlier in the day the Dolphins closed their first innings on 226, with Ruan de Swart ending a patient innings of 139 balls just one run short of what would have been a well-deserved half century, and Eathan Bosch contributing 14.
