Weather gods frown on the Dolphins, again Benoni

For the third time in three games the Hollywoodbets Dolphins had to share the spoils after their RAM SLAM T20 Challenge against the Multiply Titans at Sahara Willowmore Park in Benoni was abandoned before a ball was bowled on Friday.

The excitement was evident amongst the squad following their washed out game on Wednesday and the players were up for the challenge of taking on the table-topping Titans in their own backyard as they chase down the Centurion-based side on the tournament log. Of the five games in this half of the tournament the Dolphins have got one win and a loss along with the three abandoned games on their record, and they will sit on 10 points as they head into a week long break before their next clash. The Dolphins move into second place, which could be a temporary position given the other matches that are on the go on Friday. The rest of the competition will be hoping that the Titans can slip up at some stage going into the business end of the competition. The SuperSport Park based outfit are on 21 points, potentially 11 points clear of their nearest rivals. The Hollywoodbets Dolphins return to Sahara Stadium Kingsmead for their next RAM SLAM T20 Challenge fixture when they take on the WSB Cape Cobras on Friday, 1 December.
