For Goose, who lapped up every delivery of the contest from the ever-popular Castle Corner grass embankment, the already successful and thoroughly enjoyable evening got even better when she was drawn the winner of a limited edition autographed cricket bat signed by the full 2014/15 Proteas squad.
“I entered for both my Dad and I and when I got the call my Dad was convinced he was the winner and the bat was his!” laughed Goose. “I told him it was all mine though and I’m sure it will be a bit of a debate between us for quite some time to come!”
Naidoo put himself in line to win the VIP experience simply by tweeting a photo of his tickets to the game to @SunfoilDolphins while Goose submitted her entry via the competition page on the Sunfoil Dolphins website.
