The three, who are part of the Emirates International Panel of ICC Umpires, will join their colleagues from the Emirates Elite Panel for the tournament. The full list of umpires is: Billy Bowden, Aleem Dar, Steve Davis, Billy Doctrove, Ian Gould, Tony Hill, Rudi Koertzen, Asoka de Silva, Simon Taufel, Asad Rauf (all from the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires), Marais Erasmus, Shavir Tarapore and Rod Tucker (all from the Emirates International Panel of ICC Umpires). The match referees for the event will be: Ranjan Madugalle, Alan Hurst and Jeff Crowe (all from the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees). It will be noted that Daryl Harper, also of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires, has not been selected for this event. This decision was taken by the selection panel for a number of general performance reasons. It must be categorically stated, however, that none of these reasons is related to his role as third umpire in the fourth Test between The selection panel consists of David Richardson (ICC General Manager – Cricket), Ranjan Madugalle (ICC Chief Match Referee), David Lloyd (former player, coach, umpire and now television commentator) and Srinivas Venkataraghavan (former elite panel umpire).
