  • Ball and Best edge England ahead 29 Jul 2010 | 11:09 pm

After two tense days England edged ahead on the third day of their hard fought tussle against Sri Lanka after three wickets apiece to Jacob Ball and Paul Best restricted Sri Lanka to 171 for 7 at Scarborough

  • Morgan proves the man for all formats 29 Jul 2010 | 11:01 pm

Eoin Morgan's impact on the first day at Trent Bridge was so emphatic, at times you wondered what all the pre-match fuss had been about

  • Uncertain Kaneria fails to make his mark 29 Jul 2010 | 10:48 pm

Under bright skies in Nottingham and on a dry, low pitch, today was not a day for the fast bowlers to run rampant. Instead with plenty of turn on offer it was a day begging for the spinners to take control

  • Pakistan hopeful batsmen can undo fielding errors 29 Jul 2010 | 10:45 pm

After the high of Headingley, Pakistan's new-found confidence took something of a battering on the first day at Trent Bridge, as a combination of missed chances, squandered reviews and a double-hundred partnership between Eoin Morgan and Paul Collingwood

The Kwa Zulu Natal Women’s team have been in scintillating form this season and have dominated the Central Region of Cricket South Africa’s Women’s Provincial League.

Such has been their domination that they have already secured a semi-final spot with two rounds of league matches still to be played against KZN Inland and North West.

Denisha Devnarain, Trisha Chetty, Rasika Maharaj and Chloe Tryonne have been part of a squad of 24 that prepared for the West Indies tour in October by attending training camps at the High Performance Centre in Pretoria from August 14 to 16 and at the University of the Western Cape from September 04 to 06 as well as various fitness and skill sessions.

Devnarain and Chetty gained selection to the national team that played against the West Indies while Maharaj and Tryonne are part of Cricket South Africa’s Emerging Squad.
