Keagan Eccles has been included in the SA Invitation team that will play England in two warm-up matches at Buffalo Park in East London from December 9-12.

 

The all-rounder, who ply’s his trade for Berea Rovers is also part of the Kwa Zulu Natal Under 19 as well as the Suncoast Dolphins Academy squads. His selection was due to his brilliant performances for runners-up Berea Rovers, in the National Club Championships in Tshwane in September where he took 12 wickets at an average of 12,16 with a best of four for 22 against Burma Lads.

 

“It’s an honour and privilege to represent your country at any level and to be rewarded for the hard work put in. It will be great to play against world-class opposition. This opportunity will allow us to see how good we are, “said an elated Eccles.

 

The SA Invitation team comprises mainly of aspiring young talented players from the Academy and Under19 Talent Acceleration Programme.
