Three Kwa Zulu Natal cricketers are jetting off to represent South Africa in a triangular cricket series that also includes England and Australia in Melbourne from December 01 to 11.

The three cricketers, who are all intellectually impaired, gained selection to the national team after sterling performances for the KZN team that lost to Western Province by four runs in the final at the national cricket week in Bloemfontein in March.

Keegan Chetty (23) from Phoenix, who represents the Pesco Centre is an all-rounder and was the leading wicket-taker in the national week with 14 wickets.

Keelan Dorsamy (21) from Richards Bay, who also represents the Pesco Centre is also an all-rounder while Kevin Agamburam (18) from Phoenix, represents the S.Dass School. Kevin is a wicket-keeper and was named the wicket-keeper of the tournament in the national week.

The tournament takes place at the Melbourne Oval. They play Australia after the opening ceremony on December 2 and a day later, they play England. They then play Australia again on December 6 followed by the second game against England on December 7.

The final and closing ceremony is scheduled for December 10. The team departs Australia two days later and are expected back in South Africa on December 13.

The youngsters leave for Australia on Sunday November 29.
