The Standard Bank National Cricket Academy (SBNCA) were dealt a heavy 197-run defeat by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Academy in the first One-Day match at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bangladesh on Wednesday. South Africa’s young talents collapsed to 131 all out, in pursuit of 328 set by the home team. |

The second four-day match against the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Academy ended in another frustrating draw for the Standard Bank National Cricket Academy squad at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Bangladesh, but they still take a few positives out of this two-match drawn series. |

South Africa A will be bolstered by the presence of Proteas spinner Paul Harris for their second “unofficial test” match against Bangladesh A on Thursday. Harris, who arrived early for the One-Day series, brings experience and some variation into the bowling attack, who have had to toil hard under unresponsive conditions. The visitors took the series lead with a crushing victory by an innings and four runs on Monday and will be out for the clean sweep. |

Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Sunday welcomed the announcement in India that South Africa will host the prestigious 2010 Airtel Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) from 10-26 September.
