KZNCU and Nashua Dolphins counted in to support Bafana Bafana
Wednesday, 12 May 2010

Kwazulu Natal Cricket Union (KZNCU) and the Nashua Dolphins on Tuesday showed that they are 100% Behind Bafana Bafana by erecting a banner of support on the stadiums South fixture board.

The banner reads “DOLPHINS and PROTEAS… 100% Behind Bafana Bafana. You can count us in!”

The campaign stems from the “COUNT ME IN” Campaign launched by CEO, Jesse Chellan, at the start of his tenure with the company and coincides with 30 days until kick off the FIFA World Cup.

The “Count Me In” campaign was launched in October 2009, to develop a “unity of purpose” amongst all the stakeholders and staff of Dolphins and KZN Cricket. With 30 days to go to the World Cup, we are using this same phase, in conjunction with CSA’s theme, to show our support and commitment to Bafana Bafana. We want to wish them well and assure them that they can count on our 100% support”, said Jesse Chellan.

The KZNCU family and Nashua Dolphin team proudly donned their new original Bafana Bafana shirts to show their support and enthusiasm for the World Cup. These shirts will be worn every Friday as the Union follows the Football Friday initiative.

The South stand fixture board at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead, which faces one of Durban’s busiest intersections on the corner of NMR Avenue and Old Fort Road has received a face lift with the installation of the bright yellow banner. The Union has exciting plans for this fixture board and the stadium as a whole for the new season, and this is just the start of it.
